96 weddings, 35 parties and milestones, 16 public shows, 11 pageants, 8 virtual events, 6 corporates, 3 promotional projects and 6 in-house emcee bookings, that's a total number of 181 events and projects for 2023! Yehey! 🥳

It has been another adventurous year! At the beginning of 2023, I humbly wished for more blessings for the next twelve months. As it happened with so much surprises, we participated in exciting activities, shared stories of our celebrators, have brought so much fun and energy in all our occasions plus have travelled even more and visited new places. So let’s take a look on some of the event hosting highlights on the previous year!
Weddings and Corporate Events & Parties in Metro Manila
All throughout my career, it's always an aspiration to reach new locations aside from my homebase and Manila. 2023 provided opportunities to explore the wonders of these places, met more people and clients and even let them experience the power of event hosting!
Weddings in Tagaytay City, Batangas and in Baras, Rizal Province
Events in the Provinces of Ilocos Sur, Cagayan & Apayao (northern Philippines)
Travelling to these places have been a great ride! But being an Ilocos-based emcee as well, I also hosted some big events held in the province with pride! National agencies flock to Laoag City or Ilocos Norte to bring their projects and services for the people to engage in. City festivals and provincial programs are included in the list of hosted events.
In addition to these programs, I had a major comeback on some province-wide events in Ilocos Norte featuring the La Milagrosa Provincial Festival and Ilocos Sur's Kannawidan Provincial Festival. Gladly hosted these events with some gorgeous and talented co-hosts, Ms. Mariz Domingo (Himala sa Buhangin), Ms. Keena Madamba (Himala sa Buhangin and Miss Ilocos Norte), Ms. Angelica Maranan-Maglanoc (Kannawidan Fiesta Opening) and Ms. Joy Barcoma (Kannawidan Fiesta Closing).
Big events of new clients also came in! Last year, I hosted a corporate event organized by Toyota Ilocos Norte in celebration of their 6th Anniversary plus Mariano Marcos Memorial Hospital & Medical Center (MMMH & MC) had its annual pageant where its latest edition focused on sustainability in terms of medical and health operations.
And talking about having a productive year, the busiest day in 2023 was December 23 for the second time! In 2022, I had three events held on this date and it happened again with the same set of events – a Christmas party, wedding and pageant! (No joke! Haha!)
Prior to all of these action-packed and fun gatherings, hiring an in-house host was a year-starter priority due to the growing demand of well-versed hosts. I aimed of expanding the brand of 'Applause N' Cheers' and introduce new hosts in the wedding and events industry of Ilocos. As such, #StarHostLei was selected as the first in-house and female emcee who is aimed at giving the best energy and enthusiasm in all occasions. On her starting year, she has hosted a total of six events booked under our team!

Moreover, with so much efforts, dedication and passion, it's truly humbling to be recognized virtually as Event Planning Service of the Year (2023) under Asia Prestige Awards. So to finally end the year with gratitude, we joined Ilocos Norte Event Suppliers' Association's Year-End and Pre-Christmas as early as November. This is held before the holiday season (December) as it is the busiest period for all event suppliers. And for the second consecutive year, we were able to host and put the smiles and joy for all our fellow members! Special thanks to Barry's Gowns for my attires and Ilocosmetics for keeping me fresh and facially radiant throughout the year!
In conclusion to my eighth year filled with infinite experience and energy, I am more than ready to face another lucky period to celebrate my 9th year in the industry! For 2024, I wish nothing but more blessings, more experiences and greater health for me, my colleagues and clients. I can't wait to see you all again this 2024!
