The busiest days of my hosting career...so far!

Updated: Jun 19, 2023

"I SURVIVED!", my mind shouted after I hosted three events in one day! This happened for two times in the month of December 2022!

December 23 and 29 are the most occupied days of hosting events since I started this career. Hosting such number of events in a day was really a body and voice challenge. I could hardly imagine how I finished those days and I even thought of having a hoarse or cracky voice - though it already started right after I hosted another dinner event at the very Christmas eve. LOL.

On the 23rd, it all started with the Duran Family's Big Five Companies' Christmas Party. Together with my co-host Teacher Hannah Banana, games, music, Christmas presentations and lantern-making contest were hold to keep up the day's excitement. That's why we'd like to thank Sir Bobby, Sir JJ Macalino, Sir Robert, Dr. Geebee Ranada, Ma'am Giza and Ma'am CJ Duran-Macalino. We really enjoyed giving all the fun on another celebrated day together!

Took a couple of hours of rest, I moved to Malacanang of the North for Edison and Hanie's wedding. We were so elated to have given their best moments together especially with a cheerful crowd. Special thanks to C B Acierto’s Event Styling and Coordination's Team for handling this occasion perfectly and for a great relief!

Then straight to the town of Vintar for its much-anticipated Miss Vintar 2022 - The Pageant. As a second-time host of this beauty competition, I've really felt the energy as everyone missed watching the show on face-to-face. That's why we're so thankful to the Hon. Mayor Richard Degala, Tourism Officer Sir Erwin Suguitan and the show's director, Christian Espiritu. Also a great pleasure meeting again our Miss Vintar 2021, Ms. Lyca Mae Magarin.

On December 29, it was another challenging yet final hurdle in hosting events on 2022. Drove from Vigan City, we first stopped at Playa Tropical Resort in Currimao for my mid-day wedding and last wedding hosting for the year. Our two civil engineers, Jerald and Roxanne, tied the knot as witnessed by our guests from the said groom's hometown and bride's family from Bulacan. Of course, as part of their enjoyment, we really made the celebration as a "happy-go-lucky" one!

From Currimao, went to Sola Hotel in Laoag for a Christening Party. The Altamirano's simple, humble and successful family returned home to celebrate with everyone. It was a multi-purpose celebration actually. A Christmas gathering, reunion with relatives and friends and even a pre-new year event. Intimately, it was a day worth remembering as everyone gets to meet our celebrator, Baby Eli, for the first time. Much thanks to his parents, Mommy Elizabeth and Daddy Aji for having me!

And to conclude the day and whole year, we reached the third town at an earlier time to host its much-awaited event after three years of hiatus due to COVID-19 restrictions. As expected, live viewers really felt the thrill and excitement in the Binibining Pasuquin 2022 Pageant as they gave their utmost energy to support their bets. What's even better? I get to host this show with one of the town's beauty queens, Bb. Pasuquin 2017, Ms. Alyssa Luna.

All thanks as well to my buddies, Cristille Joy Taguinod and Ahlden Salgado, for having my back on these busy days and throughout the year! My gratitude also goes to my new and loyal clients plus fellow event suppliers! In addition, Ilocosmetics by Dr. Julius Bryan Saep for keeping my facial radiance consistent and unceasing throughout the busy months! I didn't look stressed or tired to be honest! Hehe.

These were the days of run and fun, alright. Not the "fun run" that we know. It's even a "rush run" actually. Truly an event hosting marathon as I would say. More than these, I embraced my work even more as these people trusts us bigtime - on the things we do and what we are passionate about. It may be exhausting but the overwhelming smiles and thanks are what really keep us going!

Once again, from the bottom of my heart and vocal cords, taos puso po ang pasasalamat ko sa inyong lahat. Nawa'y ipagdiwang po natin ang pasko na may kasaganahan at puno ng kasiyahan. Maraming salamat sa inyong lahat!

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year, #KaCheers! Let's all welcome another blessed year and bountiful 2023 with lots of applause and cheers!
